Abstract
This article discusses the features of corporate strategy and risk prevention in joint stock companies, as well as the principles and mechanisms of its formation. The specific features inherent in the practice of corporate governance of
joint stock companies are analyzed. The author outlines the definition of separation of functions of corporate governance. According to the author, the corporate governance system is aimed at creating and maintaining reliable and effective
relations with the shareholder. One of the directions of corporate strategy development and risk prevention in joint-stock companies is to ensure a high level of transparency and completeness of information disclosure.
