Abstract

Central Asia in the 21st century has shown that the Central Asian region still attracts increased attention of the world community. Uzbekistan, together with other Central Asian states, with the assistance of various international organizations and individual countries, takes an active part in the development and implementation of projects for the development of international transport communications that provide access to seaports, transnational transport systems, and global markets for goods and capital. Historically, the territory of Central Asia played the role of a transit center between European and Asian countries.
