Abstract
FACTORS OF STIMULATING FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT IN KASHKADARYA REGION
A survey was conducted among 42 enterprises with foreign capital operating in the industrial, agricultural and service sectors on the factors influencing the stimulation of foreign direct investment (FDI) and their barriers. According to the results of the research, market-seeking, resource-seeking factors were noted as positive motives for FDI for Kashkadarya region, and the conclusions of previous empirical studies for Uzbekistan were confirmed. Moreover, problems that hinder the activities of foreign investors in the region have been identified and practical recommendations have been developed to solve them.
