This tutorial examines such tasks as theoretical aspects of the emergence of free economic zones and their role in the state economy, the establishment of free economic zones, features of the emergence and development of tax regimes, free economic zones as a category in the economy and their need for the development of the country. The analysis of domestic free economic zones, their development and the existing tax regime, the analysis of the regulatory framework for the creation and operation of free economic zones, as well as the analysis of the economic indicators of enterprises - participants of free economic zones and tax privileges used by them are given. We also study the international experience of introducing tax regimes in free economic zones and their further development in Uzbekistan.
